Child marriage happens everywhere—across different religions and various parts of the world

Despite there being less than 5% reported in shaded green regions, and more than 10% in the red regions, it is important to remember that child marriage is still mostly unreported. There are still thousands of girls who are legally married under-age with parental approval.
